Criterion Theater

Alliance Investments partnered with Levelland Productions, Oklahoma’s preeminent concert promotion company, to develop a 39,000 SF concert facility located in the historic Bricktown District of Downtown Oklahoma City. The facility was designed to hold up to 4,000 people and features three full service bars, an atrium glass curtain-wall, and 2nd level mezzanine viewing area that can hold up to 1,300 people.

Although the Criterion Theater opened in March of 2016 to a packed house, the road to opening night was earned through perseverance and constancy of purpose. For over two years, Alliance worked to secure a debt partner for the project, eventually working with Legacy Bank, Lincoln Capital Group, and MADCO of OKC. Construction officially began in April 2015 and was completed less than 12-months later. Alliance also worked directly with the City of OKC to secure Tax Increment Financing (TIF) to improve and install common area infrastructure around the site. Additionally, Anheuser-Busch purchased the exclusive naming sponsorship to the facility making the facility “The Criterion Powered by Bud Light”.
