Criterion Theater

Alliance Investments partnered with Levelland Productions to develop a 39,000 SF concert facility located in the historic Bricktown District of Downtown Oklahoma City. The facility can hold up to 3,500 people and features three full service bars, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, an atrium glass curtain-wall, and 2nd level mezzanine viewing area that can hold up to 1,300 people.

The Criterion Theater opened on March 26, 2016 to a packed house for singer/songwriter and Oklahoma native, Ben Rector. The debut of the venue was the culmination of roughly four years of hard work and relentless focus to provide OKC with a mid-sized venue to help establish and grow its music scene. The Alliance team worked tirelessly to secure a debt partner for the project, eventually working with Legacy Bank, Lincoln Capital Group, and MADCO of OKC. Designed by Bucher Design Studio and constructed by Hill Commercial Construction, the Criterion officially broke ground in March 2015 and was completed just 12-months later. Alliance also partnered with the City of OKC to secure Tax Increment Financing (TIF) for right-of-way improvements and to install common area infrastructure around the site.
